learning management system

A revolutionary new way to teach students

KIS Publishing's Learning Management System (LMS) is designed to create an individualized curriculum for each student.  This system is capable of delivering a subset of the millions of possible lessons, appropriate to the level of each student, all at the touch of a button. With the utmost ease,  the teacher can adjust the difficulty and amount of prompting in each lesson to enable any student to be successful.

The LMS replaces the lessons that have been used for years with something more versatile and capable - an individualized curriculum coupled with the latest teaching techniques, elevates student performance to a whole new level.

Usage of the LMS gives a wide range of benefits including:

  • Students are engaged in learning for longer periods of time
  • Fewer behaviors and disruptions
  • Students are retaining more information
  • Students are achieving goals that they have worked for years in days and weeks
  • Increased self-esteem. 100% of students improve their self-esteem.
  • 65% of students with speech issues become more verbal.

A customized curriculum

The most versatile Learning Management System ever. The LMS breaks down each topic into smaller groups of learning tasks while enabling students who are more capable to skip over the steps that are easy for them. A selection of over 8000 photos in some apps are used to enhance the learning experience for visual and auditory learners.

These are just a few of the apps that are included in the LMS.

The most detailed data ever collected.

Ever wonder exactly where your students are struggling? Evidence-based teaching techniques require the use of unbiased data for accurate decision making and lesson design. The LMS has been designed to capture all the data necessary to measure the student's learning trajectory. This data is then used to modify and enhance the student's curriculum and learning experience. The apps take the data behind the scenes, so that the teacher does not have to be concerned with anything other than their child's success. Furthermore, the student is focused on learning and not getting it right or wrong.

For example an average class of 10 students using the LMS generates approximately 360,000 data points per month. For an entire school district this can be millions of data points a month thus enabling big data techniques to be used to determine exactly how learning is taking place and where improvements can be made.

KIS Publishing’s LMS also comes with detailed data analysis, showing data for each student broken down by time,  performance, level worked on, letter accuracy, and more! Currently there are over 90 different report templates  that can be used to drill down and get to the required data.

Here are some examples.

Measuring how much time is spent dealing with behaviors vs how much time is actually allocated to teaching is one of the best predictors of future performance, as seen here:

Detailed measurements at the task level gives insights into how the student is progressing at mastery of the task.

Displaying letter accuracy that can be used as a true indicator of typing mastery.

Displaying performance by each color is a useful indicator of perception bias.

Letter confusion is a used to modify lessons or even as an indicator of potential vision issues.
